Rangers Erupt in First Inning En Route to Victory Over A’s

ARLINGTON, Tex. – The Texas Rangers crossed the plate five times in the first inning to down the Oakland Athletics Wednesday night, 5-2 at Globe Life Field.

Texas hurler Jon Gray was lights out on the mound, allowing one hit and striking out nine in seven shutout innings.

The Rangers (41-45) will be back at home Thursday night to host the Seattle Mariners at 7:05 p.m.
