Six Bryan police officers respond to gunfire Saturday night along South College near Carson Street.

According to BPD arrest reports, three or four shots were fired at a van that nearly hit a bicyclist.

Nothing was mentioned about the bicyclist asking or receiving medical attention.

The gunfire did not hit any people or vehicles.

Someone who was not the bicyclist, 19 year old Pyvise Dunn, Jr., was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and evading arrest. He is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $33,000 dollars.

The bicyclist, who the van driver told police was swerving all over the roadway, was arrested on a municipal court charge of public intoxication.
