What someone was wearing to a wedding was the reason for gunfire and a nearly seven hour standoff Sunday at an apartment complex north of Easterwood Airport.

That’s what a gunshot victim told College Station police after he called 9-1-1 from the shooter’s apartment.

According to the CSPD arrest report, the victim was shot in the area of his chest, abdomen, and pelvic area.

After officers got the victim out of the apartment, the shooter then fired at an investigator who is also a member of CSPD’s SWAT team.

The arrest report did not reveal how the standoff ended with the arrest of 27 year old Zachary Pfluger. He is jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $400,000 dollars on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault against a public servant.
