More than nine years after a driver was arrested by College Station police for DWI with two prior convictions, he is headed to prison.

Clifford Isbell was living in Bryan when he was arrested In December 2011.

According to the CSPD arrest report, Isbell was stopped in his SUV after he propositioned a female cab driver.

More than two years after his arrest…in March 2013…Isbell was placed on ten years probation.

According to online records, Isbell was arrested three times on charges of violating probation…in August 2014, June 2018, and last May.

Last Wednesday, Isbell was in Brazos County district court where he admitted to failing two breath alcohol tests and having a passenger submit a third test.

Isbell, who was living in Washington County, was sentenced to three years in prison and waived his right to appeal the plea agreement he made with the district attorney’s office.
