A Bryan woman is going to prison for stealing two wastebaskets and a handbasket from a local dollar store.
30 year old DeAngelia Williams admitted to the theft with two prior convictions almost two years ago, and at that time she was placed on five years probation from a ten year prison sentence.
This week in Brazos County district court, the probation was revoked and she was sentenced to four years.
The district attorney’s office reported Williams failed to perform 200 hours of community service, consumed methamphetamine and marijuana, and she admitted to flushing cocaine in a toilet.
Court records also show Williams was sentenced to four years for evidence tampering, related to flushing the cocaine.
