Bryan Police Catch Three Men Burglarizing An Apartment Thanks To A Witness

A witness leads Bryan police to arrest three men who were caught Tuesday morning on charges of burglarizing an apartment.

This took place just after 11 a.m. on Wilde Oak Circle, which is near 29th and Briar Oaks.

According to the arrest report, when one of four officers at the scene knocked on the front door, it was opened by one of the two men who were inside.

Two of the other officers were waiting when the men attempted to escape out a back door and window.

The third man was apprehended while he was standing outside.

The occupants told police they knew the men, and they entered the apartment after they knew they left the residence.

One who was arrested, 20 year old Keron Pennie of Bryan told officers they broke into the apartment looking for narcotics and cash, and he was upset after finding no drugs.

21 year old Adam Ealoms Jr. of Bryan told officers two hundred of the 14 hundred dollars he had in his pants pocket belonged to him and admitted to taking a gold necklace valued at eight hundred dollars.

The third man, 17 near old Eric Green Jr. of Bryan, refused to cooperate.

All three were arrested on charges of burglary of a habitation and engaging in organized criminal activity. Bonds for each of the men were set at 35 thousand dollars.

Pennie is awaiting trial on a charge from last December of unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Green is awaiting two trials, one for burglary of a habitation two years ago and misdemeanor possession of marijuana from July of last year.

Ealoms was released from jail last March after serving four months following guilty pleas to three counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle that took place in 2015 and 2016.
