Two New Administrators Hired By The College Station School Board

This month’s College Station school board meeting included approving the superintendent’s recommendations for filling two new central office positions that were approved last month.

Board president Jeff Harris noted finding qualified candidates before the start of the new school year.

Both positions are internal promotions.

The district’s first social studies coordinator is Bobbi Rodriguez, who spent the last nine years teaching at Consolidated High School.

As previously announced, College Station high school band director Eric Eaks was promoted to CSISD’s first fine arts director.

Taking over the Cougar band is assistant director Jon Seale. The new assistant director is Michael Dixon, who was the band director at Wellborn Middle School.
