Road Rage Incident

Texas A&M police responded to a road rage incident around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

According to the news release, the victim said he was traveling north on Harvey Mitchell Parkway approaching University, when the vehicle in front of him braked.

The victim changed lanes and attempted to pass the vehicle. When he passed, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim, who then sped away and contacted UPD.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid 30s, driving a black Chrysler 300 car.

On January 23, 2019, at approximately 4:25 p.m., the Texas A&M University Police Department (UPD) received a report of Aggravated Assault.

The victim reported that he was traveling north in his vehicle on Harvey Mitchell Parkway approaching Raymond Stotzer Parkway. The vehicle in front of him, driven by the suspect, braked. The victim changed lanes and attempted to pass the suspect. When the victim passed the suspect, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim. The victim sped away and contacted a UPD officer on Harvey Mitchell Parkway and reported the incident. Officers were unable to locate the suspect or his vehicle.

The suspect was described as a white male in his mid 30’s.
The suspect vehicle was described as a newer model, black, four door, Chrysler 300 car.
The victim was not injured.
