Texas A&M senior safety Donovan Wilson will sit out the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl following hernia surgery.

Aggie head coach Jimbo Fisher said a rotation of players will be used in his place.

Wilson, a 5th year senior from Shreveport, Louisiana, has played in all 12 games for the Aggies this season, collecting 66 tackles (good for 2nd on the team).

The Aggies’ leading tackler, Otaro Alaka (79 tackles), is out against NC State with a hand injury.

Visiting with the media Thursday were Fisher, quarterback Kellen Mond and linebacker Tyrel Dodson.
