Update with additional information posted 8/24/18:

A Bryan woman was arrested on multiple charges following a crash Wednesday afternoon that closed University near the freeway and injured three people.

College Station police arrested 25 year old Angelica Pachuca for intoxication assault, causing serious injury while driving with an invalid license, evading arrest, and failing to stop and leave information.

Pachuca’s car struck a SUV with enough force to cause the SUV to flip onto the driver’s side and the car to rear-end a pickup.

All three drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash followed a short pursuit by officers who were attempting to stop Pachuca’s car, which was going at a high rate of speed.

According to a CSPD news release, 9-1-1 received calls reporting Pachuca’s car struck several vehicles and drove the wrong way on a one-way street.

Traffic was rerouted for about two hours following the crash at University and Glenhaven that ended the chase.

At the time of her arrest, according to online records, Pachuca was out on bond awaiting trial on three charges from an arrest last September by a Brazos County sheriff’s deputy. In that case, she is charged with driving with an invalid license with prior convictions, evading arrest, and child endangerment by having a child in her vehicle while driving at a high rate of speed.
