2011 Football Schedule Released

Texas A&M Director of Athletics Bill Byrne announced the tentative 2011 Aggie football schedule today.

In nonconference play, the Aggies will face SMU and Idaho at Kyle Field and the neutral site game against Arkansas will be played Oct. 1 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

The league slate calls for a round robin schedule with the five home games against Oklahoma State, Baylor, Missouri, Kansas and Texas with road contests at Texas Tech, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Kansas State.

“The following football schedule is tentative as talks continue with our television partners regarding possible attractive matchups for television,” Byrne said. “The opponents and sites will remain consistent, but there is a chance some dates may move.”
