Bryan police responding to a crash at the Texas Avenue curve south of the downtown area Wednesday evening resulted in the arrest of one of the drivers on multiple charges.
According to the arrest report, 42 year old Rodrick Smither of Bryan rear-ended a SUV with his car multiple times.
The officer who made the arrest reported when he arrived, he saw the tires of Smither’s car were still spinning and pushing the other vehicle.
Smither is accused of driving while under the influence of PCP and driving with an invalid license with multiple convictions.
The arrest report also noted Smither has two prior DWI convictions from Grimes County and 15 suspensions on his drivers license.
