Arrests For Stealing Mail And Possessing A Weapon As A Felon

The 17th time a College Station man is in the Brazos County jail since 2001 is on charges of stealing mail from elderly people. According to the arrest report from Bryan police, 36 year old Daniel Brundidge had in his backpack a variety of mail that came from more than 50 different addresses. The arrest follows a citizen’s report Monday afternoon of seeing Brundidge removing mail from his mailbox on Rustling Oaks Drive, east of Blinn College, then running him down. Police found the suspect west of Blinn on Hollowhill Drive.

A College Station man now faces two charges of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. 34 year old Christopher Dale the third remains in jail following his arrest last Friday from an incident on January 31st that brought out the College Station police department’s SWAT and hostage negotiations teams. According to the arrest report, Dale admitted to firing multiple shots from an semi-automatic rifle in the area of Wellborn Road and William D. Fitch Parkway. According to online court records, Dale is awaiting trial on a weapons possession charge following an arrest last July.
