Corps of Cadets Member Fabricated Claim Regarding Robbery and Pepper Spraying

The robbery was reported by a freshman member of the Corps on Monday, September 28th. She claimed that she was pepper sprayed in the West Campus Garage and her “Fish Spurs” stolen. UPD believes the claims were fabricated. UPD Assistant Chief Bobby Richardson told WTAW that the information will now be referred to the Brazos County District Attorney. According to Student Rule 26, students engaging in conduct violations will be served written notice of, and have at least three days to prepare for a Student Conduct Conference. Any disciplinary action from the Corps is unknown. Her identity is not being released at this time.
