Just before 1 a.m. on Friday, Bryan police responded to the Bryan Premiere Theater for a report of a drunk man who had hit an employee.

According to the arrest report, 28 year-old Bryan Adams of College Station was being held by theater employees at the back of the building when officers arrived.
As two officers attempted to restrain the suspect, he became belligerent, kicking, yelling and spitting at the officers.
A third officer arrived on scene and was able to tie the suspect’s feet so all three officers could put him in the patrol car.
Adams was taken to the St. Joseph’s emergency room for a blood draw due to him spitting on the officers. He continued to yell obscenities that several of the staff and other patients could hear.
Adams was arrested on a total of eight counts, including harassment of a public servant, resisting arrest, public intoxication, and assault.
