4th Arrest In Capital Murder of Blinn-Brenham Student

BRENHAM, Texas (AP) – Police say a fourth suspect has been arrested in the 2014 fatal shooting of a Blinn College freshman whose body was found on a Brenham street.

Washington County jail records show 20-year-old Jordan Alexander Graves of Brenham was being held Wednesday on a capital murder charge, with bond set at $1 million.

Brenham police say Graves was arrested Monday on a warrant in the October 2014 killing of Trey Alan Kurtz of Houston. Authorities have said the victim was on his way to a party when he was gunned down.

Three suspects were earlier arrested on capital murder charges in the case.

Brenham police Chief Craig Goodman on Wednesday declined to release additional details about the ongoing investigation.

Jail records didn’t list an attorney to speak on behalf of Graves.
