CSISD Meeting Confirms Scott & White Hospital

The College Station ISD Board of Trustees has scheduled two special meetings.

On Friday, most of the day will be taken in the latest installment of a grant-funded series of leadership workshops.

Before the workshop, Friday morning at 8:15 the Trustees are scheduled to approve selling 30 acres of land on Rock Prairie Road east of the Earl Rudder Freeway.  According to the agenda, CSISD is selling to the City of College Station for $4,020,000.  CSISD spokesman Chuck Glenewinkel says the city will sell the property to the Research Valley Partnership, then the regional economic-development agency will sell the land to Scott & White as part of the land for a new hospital.

The trustees have also scheduled a special meeting next Tuesday to continue discussion of updating school boundaries with the addition of new buildings in CSISD.
