Tuesday night’s meeting of the Blinn College board of trustees includes $9.5 million dollars of items at both Bryan campuses.
On the main campus at 29th and Villa Maria, there are three items totaling $1,750,000.
There is a $1 million design of re-configuring the intersection of Villa Maria and Red River to allow traffic to leave the campus.
There is $500,000 to draw up how to remove silt from two campus ponds. The city of Bryan says that will reduce the amount of storm water runoff going into Briar Creek that is causing problems for property owners downstream from the campus.
And there is a $250,000 contract to design proposed landscaping around the recently remodeled administration building, the campus quads, and the south perimeter of the 29th and Villa Maria campus.
