Two More Dog Bite Cases Reported To CS Police

College Station police announced Thursday that animal control officers are looking for two dogs who bit children in separate incidents over the past week.

A child was bit Monday afternoon (February 29) around 4 p.m. in the area of 12998 Hibiscus Street, which is between Graham and Arnold south of Brian Bachmann Community Park. A white woman was seen walking two leashed large black dogs that had white feet. One of the dogs jumped and bit the child as he ran by.

The other incident, last Friday (February 26) around 5 p.m., was in the 1200 block of Arizona Street, which is between Holleman, Welsh, Southwest Parkway, and Wellborn. A child was pushed down and bitten by a male yellow lab wearing a black collar. At the time of the incident, three white men were attempting to catch the dog.

According to animal control, both dogs needs to be located and observed to rule out possible rabies exposure to the children.
