The investigation into an early Friday morning shooting death in Hearne has involved Bryan police.
No arrests have been announced in the killing of 18 year old Jaterryion Davis.
But ten minutes after Hearne police were notified of gunfire at the Daryl Moody Senior Center, Bryan police spotted two cars matching descriptions from Hearne.
One of the cars was stopped and the driver was arrested on unrelated charges of possessing a personal use quantity of marijuana and driving with an invalid license with a previous conviction. The driver is out of jail after posting bond.
There’s been no response to a request to Hearne police by WTAW News for comment about the cars spotted in Bryan, the one that was stopped, and the status of the second car.
