5th ranked Aggies at 13th ranked OU tonight

The fifth-ranked Texas A&M women’s basketball team (17-1, 5-0) takes its 11-game winning streak on the road to No. 12 Oklahoma (15-3, 5-0) Wednesday, Jan. 26 for its second consecutive top 20 matchup. The Aggies and the Sooners are set to tipoff at 7 p.m. at Lloyd Noble Center. In a battle of unbeatens in the Big 12 Conference, A&M is boasting its best league start in program history, while OU has started 5-0 in the conference five times. The Aggies are coming off of their first win at No. 20 Iowa State and are one of two teams to be 3-0 on the road in Big 12 play. The national leader in turnover margin, A&M is forcing its opponents to make almost 25 turnovers per game, while committing the sixth-least turnovers in the country (13.5). The Aggies are dishin’ and swishin’ with the third-best assist-to-turnover ratio in the nation (1.37), the fourth-best scoring margin (+27.8) and the ninth-most assists per game (18.4). The Aggies have only won once in Norman, Okla., since the start of the Big 12 and each of A&M’s last four away contests in the OU series have been played in front of large crowds over the 8,000+ mark, presenting one of the toughest home-court advantages in women’s college basketball.
