Texas A&M Reports Record Spring Enrollment

Texas A&M’s spring enrollment has set another record. That includes College Station at 59,837 and 64,961 at all A&M locations.

There are 79 more Aggies this spring compared with last year. 136 more undergraduates more than make up for fewer masters and doctoral students.

A total of 64,961 students are attending Texas A&M University for the spring 2020 semester, a record for spring enrollment. At the flagship campus in College Station, 59,837 students are enrolled for the spring semester, also a record.

A comprehensive view of Texas A&M enrollment is available on the Texas A&M Data and Research Services website.

The enrollment figures, which include students at the main campus in College Station, the branch campuses in Galveston and Doha, Qatar, the Health Science Center and other sites throughout the state, are those officially reported to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Official enrollment is based on the number of students on the 20th class day.

Texas A&M also posted a record enrollment of 69,465 students for the fall 2019 semester, making it the largest university by student population in Texas and among the national leaders. In the spring of 2019, 64,882 students were enrolled.

Spring enrollment figures are traditionally lower than the fall semester due to December graduation.
