Tuesday’s Brazos County commission meeting (June 11) included a shout out to the road and bridge department from commissioner Chuck Konderla.
He said “we’ve been wearing ’em out” as they have responded to damage following last month’s back to back high water events.
Konderla said they’ve “had to basically triage everything” as requests continue to be made.
Residents are asked to practice patience. Konderla said those who “might want your thing handled that day, but they’re handling five other things that are very dangerous”.
