Most Layoffs At Online Retailer Wayfair Are Not At Their Bryan Call Center

Layoffs are taking place worldwide at online retailer Wayfair, which has a call center in Bryan.

A Wayfair spokesperson tells WTAW News nearly all of the affected employees work at either their headquarters in Boston or in Berlin, Germany.

Out of more than 17,000 employees worldwide, 550 were impacted.

Four people in Bryan are affected. They worked on a specialized team led out of Boston.

Wayfair employs a little more than 500 in Bryan. The local sales and service team was not impacted.
