An arrest of a Bryan man Sunday afternoon outside the Bryan police department marks his fourth visit to jail in the last two months.

35 year old Donald Cunningham is accused in the BPD arrest report of using a permanent marker to write graffiti on the metal sign identifying the Bryan Justice Center.

The arrest, which took place where protesters were gathered around 29th and Texas, also charges Cunningham with running away from officers and public intoxication.

At the time of his latest arrest, Cunningham was out of jail on his promise to appear in court on another charge of public intoxication, and in a separate incident for consuming alcohol in the downtown area.

According to online jail records, Cunningham also spent nine days in jail before he was released after prosecutors decided not to pursue a charge of harassing a public servant.

As of Monday evening, Cunningham remains in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $6,000 dollars.
