COLLEGE STATION, April 10, 2019 – The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is teaming up with author Fred Burton on April 17 at 6:30 p.m. for a discussion about his bestselling book, “Beirut Rules: the Murder of a CIA Station Chief and Hezbollah’s War Against America.” After the event, a reception, a book sale and a book signing will take place.

“Beirut Rules” is a tell-all book about the event that ignited the ongoing battle between the CIA and Islamic radicalism and the kidnapping and murder of CIA Station Chief William Buckley. This account includes classified government documents, interviews with family, friends, and co-workers.

This event is being held in conjunction with the newest exhibit at the Bush Library and Museum, “Spies, Traitors, Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America,” created by the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C..

The exhibit provides unprecedented perspective into terror on American soil. The exhibition uncovers the forgotten stories of domestic terrorists and foreign agents, militant radicals and saboteurs, who have threatened America’s sense of security over the past 200 years.

The event is free but seating is limited, so please reserve your place by calling (979) 691-4014 or by emailing
