Since pandemic restrictions were lifted last month, visitors have returned to Lake Bryan.

The recreation area, which is owned by BTU, is getting a new restroom and shower area.

BTU’s business and customer operations director David Werley says construction will take place during the summer near the boat ramps.

Werley says there are no requirements to wear masks, state park guidelines are employed, and BTU is taking proposals for a new operator of the Lake Bryan restaurant.
