College Station Police Arrest Three On Daytime Attempted Vehicle Burglary Charges

College Station police announce two adults and a juvenile were arrested Thursday during the noon hour on charges of attempted vehicle burglaries in the Tower Point shopping area.

A WTAW listener alerted us to officers having one person on the ground being detained in front of the Tower Point Spoon’s business.

CSPD tweeted in addition to the trio pulling car door handles, one of the adults is accused of carrying a gun, a second adult had illegal drugs, and a juvenile spit on an officer’s face, resisted arrest, and lied about his identity.

According to another CSPD tweet, 17 year old Jaydon Ryan Simcik was arrested for attempted car burglary and unlawful gun possession, and arrested for felony drug possession was 26 year old Jeremiah Jamar McGruder of College Station.

The juvenile, whose age and gender were not disclosed, was arrested for felony harassment (spitting on a public servant), resisting arrest, and failing to identify.
