Highway 6 between Hearne and Bryan was closed for more than two hours Saturday morning.
Robertson County sheriff Gerald Yezak says the driver of a semi suddenly pulled over near the OSR exit and fell out.
Yezak says an off duty EMS worker stopped and was told by the semi driver that there was a man inside with a gun was going to kill him the driver.
That led the EMS worker to call 9-1-1, which resulted in closing the highway.
Yezak says when law enforcement rushed the semi, no one was inside.
The sheriff says the semi driver was transported for a mental health evaluation.
