Arrest This Week Following A College Station Police Chase Before Christmas

College Station police found on Tuesday, a man accused of leading then eluding officers on a 13 mile chase the week before Christmas.

It’s the 23rd time in the last 14 years that 32 year old Rafael Villarreal of Bryan has been booked in the Brazos County jail.

According to the CSPD arrest report, Villarreal is accused of leading officers through College Station and Bryan at speeds of up to 80 miles an hour.

The pursuit on December 19th ended due to safety concerns after the SUV ran a stop sign.

Officers originally responded to the report by a resident living near Holleman South and Cain of who saw a suspicious person looking over her privacy fence into her back yard.

Villarreal is held in lieu of a $50,000 dollar bond.
