TJ Starks Leaving Texas A&M Men’s Basketball

Texas A&M point guard TJ Starks has announced he’s leaving the program and looking to transfer.

Starks, who was suspended indefinitely following an arrest on marijuana possession November 14th, took to Twitter yesterday to announce the move:

In addition to Starks’ post, Texas A&M Men’s head basketball coach Buzz Williams also released a statement:

“We appreciate all that TJ gave our program during his time here, and wish him the absolute best going forward.”

Starks, a junior from Lancaster, Texas, was a two-year starter for the Aggies, and led the team in assists last season with 94 and was third in scoring with 12.3 points/game.

He had yet to see the court for the Maroon & White in 2019-20 after injuring his ankle in the preseason.
