$82 Million In More Road Work On OSR Is Underway

The TxDOT Bryan district office reports OSR in Brazos County will have lane closures and other delays through August of 2022. The nearly $65 million dollar project will be done in two mile segments, starting at the west end of OSR at Sandy Point Road. Improvements include widening the highway and replacing several bridges.
TxDOT also reports OSR construction along the Madison/Leon county line has moved, closing the section from FM 2289 to Pond Branch Creek. Access continues for local property owners and permanent residences. Weather permitting, this 17 million dollar project will be completed sometime next summer. OSR is now open from FM 1452 to Spur 3.
