2019 Election Results And Election Night Interviews

Voter turnout for yesterday’s (TU) election was higher compared to the last election for municipal election two years ago.

Nearly 16 thousand voted this year, representing a turnout of 14 percent of Brazos County voters. That’s up from 91 hundred voters and a nine percent turnout two years ago.

Turnout for Bryan mayor was 15 percent. Turnout for College Station council and Bryan’s council district two were 11 percent. And turnout for Bryan’s council district one was eight percent.

Total number of voters: 15,960 of 114,542 = 13.93%

BRYAN MAYOR

Andrew Nelson: 4,186 (70.35%)
Patrick Giammalva: 1,009 (16.96%)
Robert Rose: 755 (12.69%)

BRYAN SMD 1

Reuben Marin: 252 (63.80%)
Sedrick Gilbert: 143 (36.20%)

BRYAN SMD 2

Prentiss Madison: 491 (63.85%)
Rafael Pena: 278 (36.15%)

COLLEGE STATION PLACE 2

Jerome Rektorik: 2,880 (46.71%)
John Crompton: 3,286 (53.29%)
