Blinn College Fall Enrollment Higher Overall And Continuing To Fall At Bryan’s Main Campus

Total enrollment at Blinn College continues to approach 20,000 for the first time.

But the success at Blinn’s new RELLIS location means for the first time in at least 16 years, headcount at the college’s other Brazos County locations is below 10,000.

Blinn overall headcount rose from 19,048 to 19,202.

Bryan campus headcount fell from 10,109 to 9,375.

Brenham campus headcount rose from 2,716 to 2,751.

RELLIS campus headcount rose from 1,515 to 2,582.

Online headcount rose from 2,063 to 2,280.

Headcount in high school/dual credit students rose from 1,719 to 1,728.

Schulenburg campus headcount fell from 162 to 128.

Sealy campus headcount fell from 128 to 126.

Contact hours, the number of hours students spend in instruction, also increased to 3,441,904, up from 3,415,056.

According to Blinn officials, this fall’s headcount better aligns with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board data. That means Blinn’s Fall enrollment report counted students enrolled in the Fall 16-week and first 8-week sessions and did not count students enrolled in the Fall 12-week and second 8-week sessions.
