Bryan police announce the arrest of a man who is accused of walking into an unlocked apartment Sunday morning, visited with the resident, then left without taking anything.

According to the arrest report, the victim’s description of the suspect…including a chipped tooth…was recognized by a BPD officer.

After the victim picked out the suspect in a photo lineup, 24 year old Jonathan Molina was arrested Thursday on a charge of burglary of a habitation.

Molina remained in jail Friday morning in lieu of a $20,000 dollar bond.

Original story:

Bryan police is asking for home video from anyone living in the area of Old College and South College Sunday morning between 7:30 and 10:30.

That’s because BPD is looking for a man who entered an unlocked apartment, visited with the resident, then left.

The apartment is located on Howdy Court, which is off Old College a couple of blocks south of South College.

The person who lives in the apartment was not injured, and nothing was taken.

Anyone with video or other information is asked to call BPD at 979-209-5300 or Brazos County Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS (8477).
