Kyle Field Letters Online Auction Generates $62,045

This month’s online auction of the former Kyle Field letters HOME OF THE 12TH MAN by the Texas A&M class of 1988 raised more than $62,000 dollars for its commitment to the renovation of the memorial student center.

The most interest came from the 33 bidders who wanted the combination of the underlined TH. That was purchased by someone from Midland for almost $4,700 dollars.

The most money was spent by someone from Seattle on the number two, which went for almost $9,000 dollars.

The most bids, 102, were made on the “N”, which was purchased by someone from Brenham for $3,500 dollars.

Texans made the high bids on all the letters.

The numbers one and two went to bidders from Seattle for a combined $14,000 dollars.

12 people were the winning bidders of the 15 letters and numbers.
