Gunfire Leads to Three Arrests

College Station police made three arrests early Thursday morning after responding to a report of suspicious activity in the 2100 block of Southwood Drive.

According to the CSPD news release, the caller said the suspects were attempting to force their way into a residence and a vehicle. When the resident confronted the suspects, the suspects opened fire, striking the apartment and a vehicle in the parking lot.

Arriving officers saw the suspects fleeing the scene and after a brief chase, two suspects surrendered. The third was found in a nearby backyard.

19 year-old Jamal Zeno and 18 year-old Jatarious Ginn of College Station and 17 year-old Cody Briscoe of Bryan were arrested for evading arrest.

Additional charges are possible. No one was struck by the gun fire.
