Arrests For Threatening A Family Member With A Pointed Vegetable Peeler & Threatening A Woman With Posting A Video

For the second time in 12 months, a Bryan man is in jail on charges of threatening family members. Two Brazos County sheriff’s deputies and a DPS trooper responded to a disturbance call last Friday at a home east of Bryan where the victim locked himself in a bathroom. According to the arrest report from the sheriff’s office, 18 year old Pablo Barajas admitted getting into an argument but denied threatening the victim with a pointed vegetable peeler. Barajas, who remains in jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, is awaiting trial from an arrest last August on misdemeanor charges of making terroristic threats to two other family members.

A Bryan man is arrested on a charge of threatening to release on social media a video of consentual sexual contact. According to the Bryan police arrest report, 26 year old Hipolito Sanchez Jr. first demanded $5,000 dollars then $1,000 before he accepted $600 dollars that the victim got from a family member. The victim went to police last month after Sanchez continued to make threats for five months to release the video. Sanchez is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $32,000 dollars.
