It took the College Station police department’s SWAT team to execute a search warrant at an apartment to find the gun that’s believed to have been used in a Friday night shooting in the parking lot of the Taco Bell on Harvey Road.

The search was nine hours after 18 year old Isaac Vasquez of College Station was arrested in a parking lot east of the restaurant and south of the apartment.

No one was hit by the gunfire, which according to a CSPD news release was the result of the intended victim attempted to rob Vasquez during a drug sale.

Vasquez remains jailed on charges of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm and evading arrest.

The second person involved in the alleged drug sale has not been found.
