Bryan School Board Approves Allowing Out Of District Students At New Career And Technical Education Complex

The Bryan school district’s new career and technical education complex will also teach incoming juniors and seniors from Snook and Caldwell.

That’s after the school board approved a memorandum of understanding with the neighboring districts at this week’s meeting.

Chief of staff Ginger Carrabine says BISD will be paid for teaching the 17 out of district students.

Carrabine also says there is interest from the College Station and Mumford school districts.

The board was told out of district students will help satisfy requirements of a $700,000 dollar federal grant BISD received this summer.
