A College Station woman is accused of leaving a two year old and a four year old in their apartment by themselves for more than one hour while she ran errands.

According to the arrest report from College Station police, a pest control technician discovered the children in a bedroom and called police.

When 21 year old Deedra Webber arrived, she told officers she did not want to disturb the children, who were sleeping.

She said she planned to be gone 30 minutes to take her boyfriend to work.

But she said she was delayed by traffic and the time it took to get a money order.

Webber is in the Brazos County jail where she is held on bonds totaling $20,000 dollars following her arrest on two counts of child abandonment.

The children were returned to their mother.
