Two New And One Returning Elected Member Of Blinn College’s Board Of Trustees

Blinn College’s current board of trustees have issued certificates of election to three Washington County members following the May 4th election.

The returning member is current chairman Charles Moser of Brenham.

One of the new members, Jim Kolkhorst of Brenham, formerly owned the Rattlers convenience store chain. Kolkhorst’s wife is state senator Lois Kolkhorst. Jim Kolkhorst is taking over for Atwood Kenjura, who is retiring after 43 years on the board.

The second newly elected trustee is retired Blinn administrator Dennis Crowson of Brenham. Crowson succeeds David Sommer, who is retiring after eight years on the board.

Moser, Kolkhorst, and Crowson will be sworn in May 21st to start six year terms.
