Arrests On Family Related Child Endangerment And Perjury Charges

A 17 year old man is arrested for child endangerment after being accused of throwing a knife at his five year old sister. The arrest report from College Station police does not state what led Estabaun DeLeon to throw a foldable knife with a rusty blade. But four witnesses told officers DeLeon became angry before pulling out the knife from a pants pocket. DeLeon told officers it was not his intent to hurt his sister and he was just playing. DeLeon remains in jail in lieu of a $10,000 dollar bond.

A Waco woman was arrested on a charge of aggravated perjury following an appearance in a Brazos County juvenile court criminal hearing. The arrest report from a deputy precinct four constable states 19 year old Jesika Olvera misrepresented herself as a sister of a young man appearing on an undisclosed criminal charge. The deputy stated the juvenile could have been released to Olvera’s custody. What led to finding out Olvera was not the juvenile’s sister was not disclosed. Olvera was released from jail the day after she was arrested after posting a $9,000 dollar bond.
