Parking Too Far From The Curb Leads To Six Arrests

A Bryan police officer who saw a two ton pickup park too far away from the curb resulted the driver and five passengers going to either jail or juvenile detention on a variety of charges.

According to the arrest report, officers seized three handguns, one of which was reported stolen from College Station.

Charges against the 16 year old driver and four passengers between 16 and 18 years old include unlawful carrying of a weapon or and possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. One of the 16 year olds is also a runaway.

The 17 year old, Marquise Castilleja of Hearne, was also arrested on a warrant from Hearne police on a charge of filing a false police report. He remains in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $21,000 dollars on drug and weapons charges.

The 18 year old, Carter Obrien of Madisonville, is out of jail after posting a $3,000 dollar bond on a misdemeanor marijuana charge.

The fifth passenger, 29 year old Patrick Dunn Jr. of Bryan, went to jail for the second time in three days. Dunn’s latest arrest on drug charges came after he bonded out earlier in the day on charges of continuous violence against a family member and interfering with a 9-1-1 call. According to online records, it’s his fourth time in the Brazos County jail since April of last year. He was released from jail three days after his latest arrest on bonds totaling $9,000 dollars.
