College Station Police Looking For Astro The Chihuahua

From College Station police:

On 4/13/2019, College Station Animal Control received the report of an animal bite.

Around 1900 hours on 4/12/2019, the victim was riding his bicycle in direction to his apartment complex located in the 1000 block of University Drive E.

The victim was passing an open field west of Hawthorn Suites Hotel when he observed two Chihuahuas off leash in the field.

The victim described the first Chihuahua as white in color and the second Chihuahua as brown in color.

The victim advised the white Chihuahua ran after him and bit him on the lower leg.

The victim also said the dog owner, white male around 6”2’, black goatee, black hair wearing a black t-shirt tried to call the dog back and called it “Astro”.

College Station Animal Control is asking for help from the public in locating the dog involved in the bite and its owner.

The dog needs to be located and observed to rule out possible rabies exposure to the victim. If you have any information about this case, please call (979)764-3600.
