Saturday’s A&M Ring Day Location Moved To The Student Rec Center

From the Texas A&M Association of Former Students:

Due to the possibility of severe weather in our area Saturday, The Association of Former Students will move our Saturday Ring Day operations to the Student Rec Center. Friday’s operations will remain at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center, as planned. Friday activities will begin at 8:45 a.m. and run through 8:00 p.m., and Saturday activities will begin at 8:45 a.m. running through 12:15 p.m.

Almost 6,300 Aggies and their families will participate in Ring Day over the course of the two days. More detailed information about entrances and parking for the two days and locations can be found at http://tx.ag/RingDayAlert

The first known Aggie Ring was produced in 1889 and today the Aggie Ring Program, managed by The Association of Former Students, is the largest collegiate ring program in country. Aggies must earn 90 credit hours before ordering their Aggie Ring and obtaining the Aggie Ring is a highly anticipated milestone. In 2018, more than 15,500 Aggie Rings were purchased.

Parking options for Friday include the University Center Garage, Cain Garage and West Campus Garage. Parking options for Saturday include the West Campus Garage and Lot 100 for campus permit holders.
