College Station Police Investigating Another Stabbing

For the second consecutive night, College Station police is investigating a stabbing.

Officers were sent Saturday during the midnight hour to Southgate Apartments on Luther.

A man was found with multiple wounds to his back.

The man was transported from the scene for treatment of his injuries.

According to a CSPD news release, the stabbing followed an undisclosed altercation between two men who know each other.

This follows a Thursday night stabbing at the Grand apartments on Harvey Road.

From College Station police:

On 4/5/19, at around 12:26 AM, officers with the College Station Police Department responded 134 Luther St, Southgate Apartments, for a report of a male who was stabbed. When officers arrived on scene, they found a male who had multiple lacerations to his back. Medical care was given to the male by the responding officers and by the College Station Fire Department.

Through the investigation it was learned the male was involved in an altercation with a second male, and the second male stabbed the male multiple times. The second male then fled the area before officers arrived. At this time it is believed both males knew each other, and there is no danger to the public.

The investigation has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division, and the College Station Police Department asks anyone with information about this incident to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at (979) 764-3600.
