A College Station police search of an apartment last Friday turned up almost $250,000 dollars in illegal drugs, $23,000 dollars in cash, jewelry that is believed to have associated with the illegal sale and distribution of narcotics, and a stolen gun.

That led to the arrest of 26 year old James Dionte Hood of Navasota on multiple charges.

According to the arrest report, officers found inside the apartment more than ten pounds of ecstasy, valued by CSPD at $242,000 dollars.

Officers also seized $3,615 dollars in powdered and crack cocaine, which officers believed was enough to be involved in wholesale dealing.

Hood is jailed on bonds totaling $483,000 dollars.

CSPD reports last Friday’s search was the culmination of a joint Brazos County Law Enforcement Agency investigation over the course of the past 12-18 months.
