TxDOT Bryan District Office Announces Two Public Meetings In April

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Bryan district office has announced two public meetings in April regarding upcoming highway projects in College Station and Leon County.

Those interested in learning more about the widening of Harvey Mitchell Parkway between Raymond Stotzer and Wellborn Road are invited to a gathering on April 2 at the VFW post in Bryan. Construction is currently scheduled to start in the fall of next year. The $40 million dollar/three mile project, which will take two years to complete, will expand Harvey Mitchell to three lanes in each direction. Improved intersections and shared use paths will also be built.
