A College Station man is in the Brazos County jail on charges he stole a SUV in Bryan to take $471 dollars of items from the College Station Target store. College Station police responded last Friday afternoon to a theft report at Target. According to the arrest report, a store employee identified the vehicle driven by 27 year old Kareem Ibn-Ishaq. The SUV, which had no license plates, was reported stolen earlier in the day from a Bryan used car dealer. Ibn-Ishaq is jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $7,000 dollars.

A College Station man riding a bicycle in Bryan at 1:30 in the morning lands in jail. According to the Bryan police arrest report, that’s after an officer stopped the bicyclist for failing to stop at two stop signs. Then one of two officers at the traffic stop discovered a handgun in the bicyclist’s backpack. 21 year old Roosevelt Robinson, who was arrested for having a gun stolen in College Station, told officers he had been carrying it in his backpack for a couple of weeks after finding it near a College Station apartment complex. Robinson is jailed in lieu of a $5,000 dollar bond.
